I've missed the chance to keep you all up to date on the community happenings, but here are some I thought to be interesting of late.
Monday, Nov. 27 - 4:14 p.m. - A couple complained they were victims of a drive-by shouting when persons in a grey SUV threatened to harm them with verbs.
Wednesday, Nov. 29 - 2:15 a.m. - A caller reported a man trying to score with some prescription drugs at the hospital.
Thursday, Nov. 30 - 10:43 p.m. - A caller reported a suspicious woman walking on East Mountain. West Mountain is apparently the non- suspicious side to walk on.
and then at 11:09 p.m. - A verbal dispute "cooled down" (no doubt a direct affect of the weather) when two officers visited the outdoors.
Friday, Dec. 1 - 2:15 p.m. - A Spring St. shop owner reported a couple sharing a heated arguement while their vehicle slid slowly down the ice on Spring St. , backward.
Saturday, Dec. 2 - 3:58 p.m. - Vanilla Ice made it easy for a car to park itself in a Dawson Street ditch.
And at 6:53 p.m. - Four intoxicated women reportedly whispered that there were indeed intoxicated in the Auditorium parking lot , but managed to safely drive away before the law arrived.
Sunday, Dec. 3 - 1:42 p.m. - An officer was unable to spot a well-camouflaged, white dog reported running loose on ice- covered Harvey Road. (running? on ice? hello occiffer put down the shine)
and finally at 5:53 - A Blazer was reported "all over the road" on Hwy. 23N. (A haunted sport jacket? sounds fishy to me)
